Fashion earring settings further expand the concept of how beautiful and stylish diamond earrings can be. For larger and smaller diamonds, multiple stones, or fancy shaped stones that might not be perfectly suited for a classic stud setting, you’ll find a variety of tasteful options including diamond halo earrings with either stud or lever back designs as well “drop” settings and “huggies.”
Drop settings are shorter than dangles, dropping to just below the earlobe. Drop earrings like our Pear Drops, begin as diamond stud earrings with an added drop stone. They stay still on the earlobe, and are less free moving than dangles or hoops. Drop earrings are a very versatile and popular fashion design that is appropriate for any fashion mood or occasion, from casual to cocktail attire.
