This Proposal Melt Our Hearts - National Proposal Day Giveaway Winner

Last month, we launched a National Proposal Day Contest where our customers shared their love story with us for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card to use on the wedding band or jewelry of their choice. We received so many stories from around the world and loved reading each submission!

Every story made our heart melt and we're happy to share the winner of our giveaway is Nicole Z and her husband, Jon! Although their proposal almost didn't go through, it was Jon's determination and optimism that resulted in the perfect fairytale ending for these two love birds.

Months in advance, the couple had plans to visit Tampa to enjoy the sunshine and take in new sights with good food and even better people. Unfortunately, the night before their flight, the weather took a turn for the worse and flights were canceled. It was then that Nicole didn't want to go anymore, but thankfully, Jon was able to convince her and found a way to make it happen.

When they arrived in the sunshine state, Jon made reservations for them at an upscale restaurant to dine a five-course meal and dance the night away. After their night of fun, Jon decided that he wanted to take a walk by the river to enjoy the beautiful evening light. As the couple began walking, Nicole noticed that there was someone who was taking a lot of photos but didn't think much of it and she assumed the person was a tourist. Little did she know that Jon would get down on one knee and propose!

From nearly canceling the trip altogether to a beautiful, evening proposal under the stars, these two lovebirds persevered!
