At the beginning of September we heard from a customer who was interested in having a damaged diamond recut. The diamond was her father's from a previous marriage, it had been slammed in the garage door and 2 edges were damaged. She sent it in and after getting back to her with Brian's predictions it went in for recut. It started off at 1.036 carats and the final weight was 0.945 carats.

Our customer's father wanted to match up the recut diamond with one of Brian's Signature H & A diamonds and have them set into classic platinum 4 prong basket settings for his wife. We had a 0.922 H SI2 in stock that was an excellent match, sent out a side by side picture and we set them. We e-mailed her the finished earring pictures and she wanted them shipped directly to her father so that she was not tempted to wear them herself!
