The Building Blocks to a Perfect Proposal

The Building Blocks to a Perfect Proposal

Trust and commitment are the building blocks of a strong marriage. Our customer Tim took this reference to a new level when he used his favorite childhood toy to get down on one knee. Tim and Erin's love is something out of a fairytale, so this groom-to-be used his imagination to develop the perfect proposal.

When it came time to choose the perfect ring, Tim selected a stunning creation. His eyes were immediately drawn to the Anita Halo in 18K Rose Gold. The ring had the ideal features for Erin, including a dainty heart shape accent under the halo for a finishing touch. To top off the great selection, Tim chose a gorgeous center stone from our Brian Gavin Cape Collection. The term "Cape Diamond" referred to diamonds that originated from the British Cape Colony in South Africa. Diamonds from this region tended to be faint to light yellow in color, allowing Tim to get a substantial tinted stone that he deemed "incredible" to the eye. Once the ring was in his hands, Tim knew it was time to execute Erin's dream proposal.

The proposal was nothing short of magical. He incorporated child-like creativity with unconventional panache. Knowing that he wanted a unique proposal that Erin would never suspect, Time built a small ring box from Legos. He got artistic when he decided to be the architect of his own future by building Erin a romantic display.

We'll let Tim tell you in his own words:

Another very satisfied customer yesterday! My fiancee Erin was ecstatic with the proposal and the beautiful ring. The rose gold on the Anita setting with the substantial Cape diamond look incredible. So many compliments yesterday. She couldn't quit commenting about how it sparkled which is due to the quality diamond and lovely setting. I enjoy Legos (still!) so built her a little box for the ring and used the Lego wedding set to hide the box before the proposal. She was very excited so the set didn't last long once she realized what awaited behind it!

We can't wait to work with Tim and Erin on a wedding band for their upcoming nuptials. We couldn't be happier for these two as they plan to tie the know! This clever and creative proposal is by far one of our favorites to date. To explore halo rings like Erin's, visit our website and browse our gallery.
