Brian Gavin’s Palladium, Diamond and Sapphire Wedding Set Delights Canadian Customer…
At the beginning of March we were contacted by a Canadian customer who knew exactly what setting she wanted for her new 7mm blue sapphire. We agreed on a price and she shipped her beautiful sapphire in to us. We created a Palladium 3mm wide scattered shank with the Truth head and a matching 3mm wide scattered band. The Brian Gavin Signature melee went 75% of the way around to allow for resizing. We set a "surprise" peridot and ruby set inside shank of the engagement ring and a "surprise" garnet inside the wedding band.
Jamie, the rings are astoundingly beautiful! I cannot get over how elegant they are and how much they also make my stone pop. I am glad you talked me out of a larger stone as this one looks like more than enough on my hand without crossing over into what (to me) would be too big. The Truth head appears so delicate, and has such a wonderful profile. The prongs so delicate I can hardly notice them from the top despite being against a blue stone! And I just love, love the bands. They are so comfortable to wear, and the scattered diamonds really are just what I wanted to add some interest and uniqueness to the bands while keeping them still rather simple and classic. Understated elegance! The little surprise stones are so wonderful too – I like knowing they are there even if no one else can see them and no one aside from myself and my husband know they are there! They were the perfect sentimental touch. You all captured my vision for something that blended my desires for something with a unique twist, yet that remained elegant and classic, absolutely perfectly. I have had so many comments on my rings (mainly along the lines of "beautiful rings!") already….even from some of the local independent jewelers around here! These rings definitely stand out (in a wonderful way) around here. Thanks again to all of you at Brian Gavin…..I am thrilled and would not hesitate to recommend you or work with you again. Cheers! Rachel
