Looking for a 1.7 Carat, VS2 to S12 Clarity and H to J Color Diamond with Triple X GIA Certificate

If there are 2-3 diamonds I find on your website that I like and I wanted to compare and get an experts opinion on them, would you be able to bring all 2-3 to your location and view them for me in person? Then make the suggestion on the one that looks the best? If you are able to do this, would there be a charge to bring them into your headquarters to analyze them for your customers?
Answer: For stones that are not part of our instock inventory, we limit bringing in one diamond at a time. To do this, we require a credit card on file. If we bring the diamond in and the diamond doesn't check out, we will return the diamond back to the manufacturer at no charge to you. However, if the diamond does check out but you decide not to proceed, we will ask that you cover the return shipping/insurance. We work very closely with our clients and use our expertise in selecting the best diamond to bring in house for your consideration.
Question 2:
I'm currently considering Triple X GIA: H S12, I SI1 or J SI1/VS2. The size I'm looking for is 1.7 carats. I'd like the best bang for my buck while getting an eye clean stone that faces white. I also want to make sure I get the best value. What would you recommend? Do J's face white? The I and J really seem like the best route for value purposes but I want to make sure it faces white also. I'm looking at the white gold classic replica setting as well.
Answer: Thank you for clarifying your details for me. I fully appreciate wanting to get the best band for your buck but we do have to be realistic of what is available in the ranges that you want to stay within for criteria and budget. Gemologically speaking, a SI2 diamond is not defined as being eye-clean. With a larger size stone like you're considering there is more surface area in these stones so it's more easily to pick up the inclusions. We could very possibly find a good SI1 diamond that would meet our definition of eyeclean being 8-10 inches from the naked eye in normal lighting conditions. Is this acceptable for you? I want to ensure we're on the same page together so that we locate the best possible stone for you.
